Digital photographer and photo artist Douglas Barnard found Perfectly Imperfect Digital LLC in 2022. Ubunifu Digital and Photographic Art is a product line of the LLC and Ubunifu means 'Creativity' in Swahili. Tania Barnard his wife has contributed many of these photographs to their joint collection.

Douglas uses various innovative technologies incl. photography and photographic manipulation/ enhancement technologies to create the result.

The result is a mix of grain/overlay/paint effects/HDR and photographic reality.
